MANILA, Philippines – EB Babe Lian Paz and boyfriend Paolo Contis are now engaged.

Paz herself revealed the engagement on Sunday while in the hot seat of "Intriga Crossfire," the latest segment of GMA's weekly entertainment program, "Showbiz Central."

Asked by host Raymond Gutierrez what the most treasured gift Contis had ever given her, Paz held up her hand to show a diamond ring: "This ring."

So how did Contis go about asking for her hand?

"Marry me, babe," Paz quoted Contis as saying.

According to Paz, Contis gave her the ring to "prove that he's serious about the two of us."

In an interview on “The Buzz” Sunday, Gutierrez and Concepcion, whose closeness had others speculating about the real status of their relationship, maintained that they would rather enjoy with what they have right now.
